Ingredients

For the Chicken Patties:

• 1 lb ground chicken

• ½ cup breadcrumbs

• 1 egg

• 2 tbsp milk

• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

• 1 tsp Dijon mustard

• ½ tsp garlic powder

• ½ tsp onion powder

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper

• 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

For the Gravy:

• 1 tbsp butter

• 1 small onion, thinly sliced

• 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

• 1 tbsp flour

• 2 cups beef or chicken broth

• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

• 1 tsp Dijon mustard

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken Patties: In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into oval patties.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

4. Make the Gravy: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and mushrooms until soft, about 5 minutes.

5. Sprinkle in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

6. Slowly add broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard while stirring to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened.

7. Return the chicken patties to the skillet, spoon some gravy over them, and let them simmer for 5 minutes until fully cooked.

8. Serve hot with mashed potatoes or rice, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

• Use ground turkey as an alternative to ground chicken.
