Ingredients
•3 cups granulated sugar
•3/4 cup unsalted butter
•2/3 cup evaporated milk
•12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
•7 oz jar of marshmallow creme
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
1.Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
2.Combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly.
3.Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 4-5 minutes, continuing to stir.
4.Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted.
5.Mix in the marshmallow creme and vanilla until smooth.
6.Add nuts if desired and mix well.
7.Pour into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
8.Allow to cool at room temperature or chill in the refrigerator until firm.
9.Slice into squares and enjoy.
Notes
For a twist, use white chocolate chips or add mix-ins like crushed peppermint or dried fruit. Store in an airtight container.
