Smoky and flavorful chicken legs marinated in a zesty lemon herb blend, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
•8 chicken legs
•1/4 cup olive oil
•Juice and zest of 1 lemon
•2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
•1 tablespoon thyme leaves
•3 cloves garlic, minced
•1 teaspoon salt
•1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1.In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, zest, rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper.
2.Place chicken legs in a large resealable bag and pour in the marinade. Seal the bag and toss to coat the chicken evenly. Marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.
3.Preheat the grill to medium heat and oil the grates.
4.Grill chicken legs for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
5.Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve warm.
